TRADITIONAL OVEN EFESTO BASIC

The Traditional Oven Efesto Basic model has the characteristics of the traditional oven: the dome and the cooking plate are constructed in refractory cement (diameter 90/110/130/150 centimeters).

The surface is slightly rough and allows a uniform and natural cooking without altering the taste of the product, the particular shape of the dome maintains the heat without dispersion and it remains constant inside and on the base.

The cooking surface is made of a single block of the 10 cm thick refractory material of an average weight of 200 Kg.

The oven is delivered with a gas burner and on request it will be connected to a heat detector that will provide you the exact temperature of the cooking plate and inside of the combustion chambers. The burner only switches on when the temperature decreases. This innovation, unlike the other ovens, permits to save a high amount of energy.

Our ovens are assembled and operative in 24 hours, so they can be installed on the day off.
The oven is operating within a few minutes, thanks to the special insulation which keeps almost unaltered the temperature of the previous evening. The perfect insulation also helps to maintain constant the optimal working temperature leading to significant energy savings.

Externally, the oven temperature is the same as that of the room: the oven can be coated with a plasterboard wall harmonizing the aesthetics with the decor of the room.

The ovens can be moved by forklift truck from one room to another or, in the case of relocation, they can be disassembled and reassembled in a new location. As the ovens are not walled-in, they don't require any special permits for the installation.
The different types of our ovens can be fueled by wood, by gas or combined gas and wood, with different dimensions of the plate:
